I am currently a PhD candidate in Robotics at the Field Robotics Center at Carnegie Mellon University. My research focusses on operating autonomous aerial vehicles safe and fast at low-altitude. The problem is challenging because the vehicle needs to be aware of the environment and needs to plan and react immediately to new information received.
